INERDZIA formed in the spring of 1995.
Since the first years the band made itself known both in Italy and abroad through an intense live activity that leads them to share the stage with leading bands of the world punk scene such as: Peter and the Test Tube Babies and Total Chaos, to perform at the Beach Bum Rock Festival 97 playing with: Skunk Anansie, Carmen Consoli and Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti and to be support to U.K. Subs.

In December 1999, the first INERDZIA album entitled TU PUOI was released.
Once the first print run is sold out, the CD will be reissued by the Italian label Pota Records, while the cassette version from the Hungarian label Nemart Record for the Eastern Europe only. The tour to support the album brings the band to always grow more its reputation both in Italy and abroad: in fact, more and more often, the band is invited to play also outside national borders, participating in important festivals such as Monte Paradiso in Pula (Croatia) in 1999 or the Punk Garden in Ljubljana (Slovenia) in 2001, sharing the stage with large caliber bands such as Red London, again UK Subs and Derozer.

In 2001 comes NEVER MIND THE BORDERS, the second album of INERDZIA.
The record is released on Kob Records. INERDZIA’s songs will then be reissued also from the Swiss label Snayle Records with the title NEVER MIND THE ORDERS.
The reviews of the specialized press are excellent and once again the release of the album brings the band to play over one hundred concerts throughout Europe, from Finland to Sicily, from France to Slovakia, multiplying the number of participations at important festivals and performances together with the most important world punk bands such as the British The Business or the Canadian D.O.A..

Between September 2001 and March 2003 all the members of INERDZIA play in parallel also in Los Fastidios band recording an album (Guardo avanti) and two video clips (Rabbia Dentro il Cuore and Animal Liberation) as well as taking a tour of more than one hundred dates which, in addition to Italy, also includes Switzerland, Germany, Poland, France, Czech Republic, Croatia, Norway, Sweden, Slovakia, Yugoslavia and Hungary.

In 2003, an EP entitled CATTIVI PENSIERI was released only on vinyl.
The song CATTIVI PENSIERI will also be made the first official videoclip of INERDZIA which enters programming on Rock TV.
A second EP on vinyl, entitled NO MERCY, ASSHOLE, was released in 2004 for the Swiss label
Snayle Records.

In 2005, among the numerous dates in Italy and abroad, participation was noted at the Punk Island festival of Dobrohost and at the Unite Fest in Prague, the biggest respectively Slovak and Czech Republic festivals, and concerts played with the British Leatherface, to the Americans Stockyard Stoics and the Danes The Movement.

In 2005 SASSO CARTA FORBICE, their third album, was released. Registered under the artistic direction of Andrea “Spazza” Rigoni (Derozer guitarist), at the SPZ studio in Vicenza, this record undoubtedly marks the maturity of the Paduan trio. The unmistakable and characteristic voice of the singer Elena, the fast and refined aggressive sound, the sharp and direct but at the same time poetic lyrics, are the essential elements of their latest production. Eleven songs contained in the album, all original and sung in Italian.

In 2008, after other so many gigs and festivals in all Europe, the singer and bass player Elena relocates to the UK and the band takes a 10 years long hiatus, to come back in 2018 with a new video and 6 special gigs to promote it that touches Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom with great satisfaction of either the band and the large audience that participates.

In 2020 INERDZIA are called to participate to a tribute to Les Partisans and they’ll translate, adapt and record at a distance, between Italy and Great Britain, Mouves Garçons for Famille Grime.

In the spring of 2021 Elena collaborates with the historic street punk band Scandal singing for them a piece from their new record and in October the band participates to the first punk festival on a cruise ship organized in Italy where they will share the stage with big names of Italian punk rock and HC scene including legends such as Raw Power and then Paolino Paperino band, Scacciapensieri, Madbeat and many others. On this occasion Luca K debuts at the guitar in a new lineup that sees Jimi Haze playing the bass because Elena now ‘only’ sings and jumps on stage while Malcolm is always behind the drums.
After this, the band reach a stable line up when Vivi (bass) and Damiano (lead guitar) join the band, starting an intense live activity all along Italy and Europe!

And new amazing surprises await the supporters and lovers of the band so stay tuned and rock on!

Gli INERDZIA si formano nella primavera del 1995.
I primi anni servono al gruppo per farsi conoscere sia in Italia che all’estero grazie ad un intensa attività live che li porta a dividere il palco con gruppi di primissimo piano del panorama punk mondiale come: Peter and the Test Tube Babies e Total Chaos,ad esibirsi al Beach Bum Rock Festival 97 suonando con: Skunk Anansie, Carmen Consoli
e Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti e a supportare nel 99 il tour degli U.K. Subs.

A dicembre del 1999 esce autoprodotto il primo album degli INERDZIA intitolato TU PUOI.
Una volta esaurita la prima tiratura il CD verrà ristampato dall’etichetta italiana Pota Records, mentre la versione in cassetta dall’etichetta ungherese Nemart Records per il solo est Europa. Il tour di supporto all’album porta la band a far crescere sempre piu la propria notorietà sia in Italia che all’estero: sempre più spesso, infatti, la band viene invitata a suonare anche fuori dai confini nazionali, partecipando a importanti festival come il Monte Paradiso di Pola (Croazia) nel 1999 o l’Orto Punk di Ljubljana (Slovenia) nel 2001, dividendo il palco con band di grosso calibro come Red London, ancora U.K. Subs e Derozer.

Nel 2001 arriva NEVER MIND THE BORDERS, secondo album degli INERDZIA.
Il disco esce su Kob Records. Le canzoni degli INERDZIA verranno poi ristampate anche dall’etichetta svizzera Snayle Records con il titolo NEVER MIND THE ORDERS.
Le recensioni della stampa specializzata sono ottime e ancora una volta l’uscita del disco porta il gruppo a suonare oltre cento concerti in tutta Europa, dalla Finlandia alla Sicilia, dalla Francia alla Slovacchia moltiplicando le partecipazioni ad importanti festival e le esibizioni assieme ai più importanti gruppi punk mondiali come gli inglesi The Business o i canadesi D.O.A..

Fra settembre 2001 e marzo 2003 tutti i membri degli INERDZIA suonano parallelamente anche nei Los Fastidios registrando un album (Guardo Avanti)

Della canzone Cattivi Pensieri verrà realizzato anche
il primo videoclip degli INERDZIA che entra in programmazione su Rock Tv.

Nel 2005 tra le numerose date in Italia e all’estero si segnalano la partecipazione al punk island festival di Dobrohost e allo unite fest di Praga, rispettivamente i più grossi festival di Slovacchia e Rep. Ceca, e i concerti suonati assieme agli inglesi Leatherface, agli americani Stockyard Stoics e ai danesi The Movement.

Nel 2005 esce SASSO CARTA FORBICE, il loro terzo album. Registrato sotto la direzione artistica di Andrea “Spazza” Rigoni (chitarrista dei Derozer), presso lo studio SPZ di Vicenza, questo disco segna senza dubbio la raggiunta maturità del trio padovano. L’inconfondibile e caratteristica voce della cantante Elena, il sound aggressivo veloce e ricercato, i testi taglienti e diretti ma allo stesso tempo poetici, sono gli elementi essenziali di questa loro ultima produzione. Undici i brani contenuti nell’album, tutti originali e cantati in Italiano.

Nel 2008, dopo altri tanti concerti e festival in tutta Europa, la cantante e bassista Elena si trasferisce nel Regno Unito e la band prende una pausa di 10 anni, per tornare nel 2018 con un nuovo video e 6 concerti speciali per promuoverlo che toccano l’Italia, la Germania e il Regno Unito con grande soddisfazione sia della band che del vasto pubblico che vi partecipa.

Nel 2020 INERDZIA è chiamata a partecipare a un tributo a Les Partisans e tradurrà, adatterà e registrerà a distanza, tra Italia e Gran Bretagna, Mouves Garçons per Famille Grime.

Nella primavera del 2021 Elena collabora con la storica band street punk Scandal cantando per loro un pezzo dal loro nuovo disco e ad Ottobre la band partecipa al primo festival punk su una nave da crociera organizzato in Italia dove condivideranno il palco con grandi nomi del panorama punk hc italiano tra i quali leggende come Raw Power e poi Paolino Paperino band, Scacciapensieri, Madbeat e molti altri. In questa occasione debuttano nella formazione alla chitarra Luca K e Jimi Haze suonerà il basso perché Elena ora canta e salta sul palco ‘solamente’ mentre Malcolm è sempre dietro la batteria.
A seguito di ciò, la band prende una forma stabile con l’ingresso di Vivi al basso e Damiano alla chitarra solista, ricominciando un’intensa attività live su e giù per lo stivale e in giro per l’Europa!

E nuove mirabolanti sorprese attendono i sostenitori e gli amanti della band perciò stay tuned and rock on!
